Confused Queen

A couple of times each year, Ant Colonies send off millions of virginal Queen Ants on temporary wings...the idea is they will mate in the air, then land, discard their wings dig a nest in the soil and create a new colony.
Most fail, including this unfortunate Queen who landed in the apartment swimming pool and drowned. I am guessing the success rate may be something like 1:1,000,000.
